I understand that short selling is profitable but are there any traders following this route who are making note worthy profit during this period? It’s definitely having a bit of luck and skill to an extent IMO as there’s really nothing that makes sense with these constant large drops and bounces. The people who aren’t greedy. They take profits when there are gains. Often partial and in increments. They also set up stop loss orders. This sub also seems to heavily dislike traders, because apparently short sellers and day or swing traders are responsible for price drops, so trading related content is actively downvoted. It also shouldn’t really be encouraged because it still is risky. Whenever TA is mentioned, people scoff at it because they’ve been tainted by all the Nostradamus wannabes posting their shitty predictions in here during the bull run, even though it can be a useful tool in the belt of a trader. It still isn’t something that people new to the space should even thing about, which is what this sub should put more of a focus on.
