I want to be a self employed psychologist and run my own practice. However, everybody says there is no money in psychology but all the psychologists in my area charge an hour or. So if they see 4 patients a day that equals a day or a week neuropsyychologistsa year before taxes and overhead. How is that not a lot of money? I mpney understand.

Besides, income statistics are mostly based on psychologists who are working in an organization, not independent ones. And you would need PhD in psychology to become a psychologist. Even masters degree is not enough these days because there are too many psych grads.
